Belgian dancer and choreographer, Karim Belharch started his career in the 90 ‚, in the neighborhoods and station of Brussels. He is an emblematic figure of the Belgian Hiphop movement and is considered a true pioneer of House Dance in Belgium. Known as Karim Flex, he still represents his country on the international scene for competitions, Battle, Workshop or as judge at events in Belgium and abroad. In 2014, he founded „UP ZONE“, training project and dance school, through which he transmits his vision of dance and culture Hiphop to the new generation of dancers through several activities and program, including a work of company. He teaches his discipline that is hip hop and house, with his own methods. He combines fundamental dance techniques, improvisation and choreographic work. In 2016, he create and organizes the very first Festival dedicated to the new generation „I AM NEW FEET“, which highlights under-21 as Judges, dancers, Dj’s and Mc. Unique and exclusive concept, which grows from year to year to finally become an International Festival. Since 2018, he has been part of the company „Deep Manners“ by choreographer Michel Onomo, a company composed of international dancers. All are figures on the international dance scene. Karim is a true international reference in the field of urban dance, he has worked and collaborated with many companies and artists of world renown (Cirque du Soleil, the Ten Commandments, Franco Dragone, Madonna, Geri Halliwell, Craig David, Choreographer for The Voice and Got Talent Italy, NSync, …).
